Central location There are several ways to reach the hotel from Malta Luqa Airport. The bus line X1, for example, runs directly from the airport to Mellieha within approx. If you want to arrive faster, you have the choice between airport transfer, taxi or rental car. The latter can be hired directly at the airport and, as our guest, can be stored free of charge in the underground car park of our hotel. The special thing about Mellieha: almost all of Malta's beaches are located here.
These include the beaches at Mellieha Bay, Golden Bay and on the north coast. It is only 1, metres from the hotel to the large sandy beach of Mellieha Bay. You can either walk or take the bus, which stops directly in front of the hotel at the Adenau bus stop.
Public transport also takes you quickly to Malta's sights , even outside Mellieha. Must-see cities certainly include the capital Valletta, the bustling city of Sliema, the medieval town of Mdina and the small fishing village of Marsaxlokk. In addition, excursions by ferry from Mellieha to Gozo and Camino, where you can discover a Blue Lagoon, among other things, are a must.
Culturally, Malta's ancient temples and churches are interesting, as is the history of the Crusaders. The Parish Church in the city centre is just a three-minute walk from the hotel. If you are travelling with children, a visit to the nearby "Popeye Village" is definitely recommended, which is both a former film set and its own little village.
