This truly is the Land of Enchantment and is magical beyond words. This is my forever home, and my feet are planted and not moving. My father was full-blooded Slovakian, and my mother is full-blooded Italian. I am one of eight children. I am an extremely passionate person! I attended my first two years of high school at a Catholic seminary in San Antonio, and then finished my remaining high school years outside of Dallas. I was a schoolteacher for three years after graduation for seventh and eighth grade emotionally disturbed students.
Most of my adult work experience has been in the corporate world, primarily the banking industry, with several years as an executive. I have several years of reading and understanding budgets, managing people, and facing and overcoming challenges head-on.
Before moving to New Mexico five years ago, I was living in Florida for 20 years. I have always held leadership positions in my life, even from a very young age. I love to be involved in my groups and communities. From my early years as captain of my sports teams to the president of various high school clubs, including President of the National Honor Society, to my college years as Director of New Student Orientation and Sigma Nu Fraternity President. Once I entered the corporate world, I moved up quickly to management and leadership positions and eventually executive roles.
I was the Director of Residential Lending for a community bank and turned a pretty much defunct department into the highest producing department in volume and dollars, surpassing a well-established Commercial Lending Department, in a little over a year.
Having moved to New Mexico, I decided to do that last piece of the real estate puzzle, as I was previously involved in every aspect of the real estate transaction, except as a realtor.
