His past haunts him every day causing each day to break him even more inside. Because of said past, Tye is incapable of forming bonds in his life; friendship is nonexistent to him, a love life is nothing that concerns him and family ties only bring him memories of pain and sorrow.
This leaves him with one option, to be alone. Seeing as Tye has nothing, and nobody, in his life that he feels a need to prove himself to or impress, his attitude and personality are less than kind. More often than not he will be rude and callous or simply silent and skeptical. His interactions with others are minimal, thus causing conversations to be something that are rare for him.
People often do try to speak with him, try to befriend him, but in the end they will always leave him when they learn friendship is something he does not desire. When someone tries speaking to him he will sometimes ignore them completely, stay silent and glare, respond with one word answers in a monotone voice or make rude comments and insult them; which one he uses depends on his mood.
Tye used to be lonely when he started his life of isolation from others, but after a year of living the way he has, he grew used to the silence and emptiness that filled his life. Fake smiles are rare, real ones are almost nonexistent. The only things that make him truly smile are dance, music and, believe it or not, a good book. Tye used to enjoy many other things but he gave up much, leaving him with only a few things that make him happy.
