The body is gently massaged with the stones allowing the heat to penetrate deep into the muscles for therapeutic effect and deep relaxation. Heated bamboo is kneaded into the tissue, allowing the therapist to knead deeper and firmer than possible with hands alone. This firmer technique reaches knots formed by lactic acid and other tension-causing waste helping to improve mobility and reduce pain.
