This position is designed to provide day to day oversight over the operations of the Coliseum and Gateway Center, including, but not limited to, personnel matters, facility maintenance and upkeep, program deployment, record keeping, budget management, and revenue generation.
Bachelor's Degree in related field and five years' of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Extensive knowledge of event planning, event management, and event implementation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships. Ability to supervise, train, and plan work of subordinates. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Masters Degree and five years event management and supervision experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with event management and space diagram software. Excellent customer service skills. Experience and understanding of facilities management. Applicants must submit a minimum of two professional references as part of their application.
