I might be moving to Carrollton, Georgia sometime in the near future, and I definitely need to figure out what I want in my life before doing so.
So far, i've realized that it would be a great idea to take classes at a 2 year college to work towards some kind of degree. I'd have to transfer from a 2 year to a 4 year.
Anyway, is anybody familiar with the area? I need to know of some of the schools, and how bad the area is. I'd also need to find some kind of job Any ideas? I'm a computer kind of person. I used to have a picture of an E30 here. Ever see the movie Deliverance? Get used to it. There's not much middle class there, but it's building slightly.
Either you have family money, or you don't. Some people commute to Atlanta from there. I call them fools. I don't think there's much in terms of white-collar jobs there, but there's a good bit of industry, as well as a new-ish walmart. It's not a terrible place to live. It's about a 50 minute drive to downtown Atlanta on a good day. I'm going to head down there before I make a decision, just to check the area out. I heard that there are Home Depots everywhere down there.
