Massage therapy focuses on relieving body stress and pain by moving and applying pressure to various muscles in the body. Massage therapists are often in demand, as people rely on good massages to help relieve their stress. I understand that consent is not a condition of purchase. Our massage therapy program is developed with a strong focus on anatomy and physiology, theory and practices, assessment, and introductions to a variety of massage and bodywork modalities.
Because of how interactive massage therapy is, our program is presented in a hands-on learning environment that focuses on therapeutic healing and relaxation. Part of our therapeutic massage classes focus on entrepreneurial skills designed to help you develop into a future business owner, should you choose that route after completing your massage therapy certification. While students are on the clinic floor, they will be expected to complete clinical practicums. This is done to help prepare you after graduation.

S Degree in Health and Beauty Management. Not only can you receive dual licensure for massage therapy and esthetics, but your LJIC diploma also earns you 52 credits toward a degree. If you see yourself working in a spa or as a sports massage therapist, our program can help get you there. We also provide ongoing support for students in their career searches to help them find success after graduation.
