Excellent hotel well located very friendly staff very friendly very nice , there all near the hotel restaurant just next to , the city centre is not far , I spent 3 nights my husband and I was very satisfied very good shower I regret I have nothing to say extraordinary I will come back one day I and my husband , I strongly recommend this hotel thank you very much for your service.

I had 2 extreme experiences The check out which of course was rather simple but there was a young women and young man with big smiles asking if they could help and check us out We were looking for somewhere near the railway station. The staff were very friendly Far nice than last night staff in London. Stayed here for one night for a stopover en route to Spain. The hotel is in a very run down area down a derelict side street.
You have to ring a bell to get inside and there's only one receptionist working. Our door would not lock so we got given a different room but the bathroom smelled very badly of drains so had to keep the door shut. The hotel has a snack menu and due to arriving late we couldn't get anywhere to eat as all places either bars full of students or run down kebab houses, along with super expensive restaurants where nobody wanted to go.
The hotel menu consisted of various hot snacks but we were told only pizza was available. Very pricey and undercooked, very disappointing. Room had one coffee sachet and one tea bag for two people, no water. Breakfast very expensive but varied and tasty. Wouldn't go again it's in a horrible area. Visited for the Rugby World Cup. Shared a twin room with another fan who thankfully was a mate, or it could have been a bit awkward squeezing round the bedroom furniture and sharing the facilities.
Good point - fresh towels every day. Bad point - they were only slightly bigger than tea towels. Clean but not very comfortable bed with highly mobile mattress topper and the worst pillow in the world.
