Six teenagers have been arrested for a group attack that left a Murrieta boy with injuries last week. It happened on Thursday evening just before 4 p. Arriving officers found a boy at the scene who they determined was the primary target in the brawl.
He suffered multiple non-life-threatening injuries that he is still recovering from, police said. On Monday, police arrested the six teenagers for their alleged involvement in the incident, which they're investigating as an assault with a deadly weapon.
They were also booked on suspicion of conspiracy, police said. The suspects were identified after detectives obtained surveillance camera footage from the area, which led to them identifying participants in the fight. They are still searching for an adult male who was also allegedly involved in the attack. He will not be identified by police until he is behind bars, they said.
