One of the highlights of the Sion College year is usually our annual trip to the Pantomime — this year of course that had to be cancelled. So in July the College is holding a family event along similar lines.
The Dean and Chapter of Westminster have kindly agreed to welcome Sion College members and their families to afternoon tea in College Garden marquee available if the weather is not kind to us. The event begins at and there will be a magic show at with entertainer and magician Professor Palmermoff, who will also mingle with guests before his show, with a few surprises up his sleeves…. There is the option please indicate if you would like to take this up of staying for Evensong at 5pm in the Abbey and a private tour of the Abbey afterwards.
The number of tickets may be limited, depending in particular on Covid regulations. Please apply, by Monday 28th June, All applicants will be contacted with further details by Tuesday 29th June. If you have not yet registered for online payment you will be asked to do this and your registration will need to be validated by the Administrator before you can use the facility. You will only need to register once, and for any applications for subsequent events you will need only to log in.
Payment is taken by PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account. Sion College events are often over-subscribed and each place is generously subsidised. If you are offered a place but are unable to attend for any reason, please let the office know so that your place may be offered to another.
In the event of failure to attend without notice after being reserved a place, the Court will require a refund of the subsidy. Application for a place at any Sion event constitutes acceptance of this proviso. Please login to register for this event.
