The 8 of March is an important day for women It's International Women's Day, established in and celebrated on this day. The Internationaux de Strasbourg are firmly committed to the promotion of women's rights. To tackle this gap, we have decided to launch a women-only promotion! Throughout the year, and especially during tournament week, we organise various activities to promote our values.
As a WTA tournament, the IS are committed to equality and participates in the prize money parity achievement that we hope to reach in the nearest future.
Here are two of the main initiatives to promote respect for women's rights that will take place at our 38th edition:. To surpass yourself doesn't mean you can't be surpassed.
To be celebrated doesn't mean to be protected. An immersive and engaging show that will take place on one of the IS24 courts during our 38th edition! We also want to help the victims who are alone with their burden Β». The aim of the association is to raise awareness and explain to young people what the 'normal' attitude of sports leaders should be, but also to alert parents, educators and volunteers about the signs of distress and control.
