The Family Justice Center provides a range of free services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking and child abuse in the Greater New Orleans area. Our services are trauma-informed and non-judgmental.
We welcome survivors at any point in their process. The center offers crisis assistance, including mental health services, potential financial and lodging assistance, and other resources. Translation assistance is available on site.
This center is for victims, family members and anyone present at the Bourbon Street attack, even if they were not physically injured. Anyone present during the attack can also retrieve personal effects or items left behind.
We are grateful to the FBI for their immediate response and work to vet affected families and individuals to ensure aid reaches those who need it most. Together, we are ensuring that no one navigates this tragedy alone and that we're on a united path to recovery. The NOFJC, with support from UWSELA and other funders, is providing essential aid to help impacted families with urgent needs, including transportation, temporary lodging, food, prescriptions and more.
