Very friendly and helpful staff members. The rooms are large, so the bathroom. Good location when you drive, but has bus line around the corner. All main attractions in Bratislava are easily reachable with a few minutes drive. The hotel lunch menu is changing daily and is quite cheap. The carpet in the hot The carpet in the hotel room would need a replacement as it got quite faded but is getting cleaned on a regular basis.
I would absolutly recommend this hotel when you stay in Bratislava. Hotel Mercur is located minute walking distance from the old town and its restaurants and entertainment venues. The hotel itself is just meters from railway station, and just 20 meters from a major avenue offering quick transfer to the airport. Hotel offers usual amenities of a business hotel, very contemporary design and quiet rooms. For fun, one has to to a bit of walking, or take a taxi. The location is next to the main train station only 5 minutes by walking. The staffs were very helpful. The room is very big with the kitchen. It was also clean. Great value! I would definitely staying here again if I visit Bratislava. Lovely room, beautiful bathroom, staff just outperformed every other hotel that i've been to. A little far from old town so quite dependent on taxi. But worthwhile to stay there.
Breakfast lovely. Wish there was a couple room in the spa. Otherwise, lovely overall. I needed an inexpensive hotel near to Bratislava Airport to wait between lecturing in the pretty little spa town of Piestany, some 60 miles to the east, and flying home to Bristol, some miles to the west of Bratislava. There is a supermarket nearby and also restaurants. Great if you are driving. Free, easy parking. Very accommodating staff who gave me hot water all 3 days of my stay and I bugged them everyday!
Nice cosy room. Great view of the city from the reception balcony. Highly recommended. It was just acceptable.
