With over 25 years of dedicated experience in working with vulnerable youth, Alejita Rodriguez brings a wealth of experience to the field of social work. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a profound commitment to program development, ensuring programs are both innovative and effective.
This dedication extends to compliance, as she is well-versed in regulatory and legal requirements, ensuring the utmost safety and quality of care for the children under her supervision. Alejita has been a catalyst for youth development, using her experience to create supportive, nurturing environments that enable children to thrive. Over the past decade, she has provided technical leadership, project management, and financial oversight for large-scale programs across Asia and Africa, in partnership with international NGOs, private sector organizations, and governmental bodies.
Currently, Dr. She oversees the development and implementation of culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate health assessments, education, and referrals, working collaboratively with community partners to ensure high-quality care and support for refugees. Mita brings over 18 years of experience designing and implementing, training, advocacy and public health programs focused on integrating community-based primary care, mental health and wrap-around services, maternal and child health, health systems strengthening, and human rights.
