Sarah Tulip is back in court after she was charged with assaulting a man in a domestic dispute. Prosecutor Michael Hammond said Tulip had attacked a man she knew during an argument on Mothering Sunday after she had been drinking. He added: 'She got up at 7am and consumed two glasses of neat vodka and accepts she was a bit tipsy but not drunk. The court heard she pushed the man when he called the police about her drunken behaviour and he fell against a fence, tearing his jumper.
He did not suffer any injuries. Tulip was stopped by police as she tried to leave the scene in a taxi. Robert Vining, mitigating, said: 'There is a significant sum of money still owing to this court which is still being deducted directly from her benefits. For many years she has been diagnosed as bi-polar.
Tulip was told during her latest court hearing that she could pay for her fine through deductions to her state benefits. Tulip, who lives in Northstead Flats in Scarborough, admitted assault and was made the subject of a new month community order.
She will also be electronically tagged for a two-month curfew from 7pm to 7am and take part in an alcohol treatment programme. Tulip, who advertises as Lala Rose May on escorts site adultwork. Her escorting profile was taken down following the furore over her court appearance in January but has now been put back up under the same name.
