Companionship Visiting, writing letters, playing cards or board games, going on walks or other outings, and providing emotional support.
Complimentary Care For volunteers with experience and interest in music or singing, massage, aromatherapy, pet therapy or other complementary therapies. Bereavement Care Assist with mailings, make follow up phone calls, help set up refreshments and materials for support groups, and help with bereavement related events. Homemaking Household chores, shopping assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, childcare, pet care, and yard work. Office and Administrative Assist with mailings, assembling admission packets, and doing other projects as needed in the hospice office.
