Yes, confirmed for me too - Single Mission "Low Level Attack on the Port of Tobruk" : the lighting doesn't look right at all, and I am too finding the explosions and light off of them momentarily making the water in that port disappear making it look like the ships are on sand.
If you place ships on the land, or on the borders of land and sea, you will get the situation with above ship. The missing map is at the very start of the "Attack on Derna" Mission. These are all in the supplied missions with Tobruk, no custom missions have been created. Cheers, Mysticpuma. The disappearing effects shown your video are caused by the sheer number of bombs being dropped into the water in very quick succession.
Basically when a bomb explodes in the water the game generates many "water bullet impact" effects around the explosion to simulate shrapnel flying around.
When many bombers drop many bombs in very quick succession such that they all land at about the same time, the game just generates WAY too many of these water bullet impact effects and it pushes the particle system over the limit.
