DC Public Library partners with D. Jail in their Video Visitation program. Family and friends of D. Jail inmates have the opportunity to access video-visitation stations at Anacostia Neighborhood Library and at Capitol View Library to make live connections with D.
Jail inmates. Together, everyone needs to play their part in helping to flatten the curve. During the medical stay in place, DOC will cease all video visitations. All visits will continue to be scheduled via the Internet or by calling 1 or Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am-5 pm. DOC encourages all visitors to arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled visit. Visits must start on time and are automatically cancelled if visitors arrive late.
