Split into a large main house and a separate annexe, Maison Cosmopolite sleeps up to 12 guests across both buildings. An open-plan living and dining room can be found in the main house, with features such as stone flooring and traditional wooden dressers combining with comfy sofas and a TV to create an inviting communal space.
Four delightful bedrooms comfortably accommodate eight guests. The annexe, which is 10 metres away, includes a slightly smaller kitchen and a dining area with doors opening out onto a terrace outside. There are two further bedrooms with double beds to sleep another four guests. Outside you will find an oasis of colourful flowerbeds, climbing vines and grassy lawns. There are various covered terraces with outdoor furniture as well as a large table and chairs perfect for dining al-fresco, perhaps after cooking up a storm on the barbeque.
When you want to soak up some sunshine, the loungers surrounding the pool are the ideal place to recline. Such an enchanting setting makes for the ultimate day of relaxing. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a picture-prefect town built on a network of canals stemming from the Sorgue River. The picturesque town is also well-known for its many antique shops. Vincent Van Gogh lived here for several months and produced some of his paintings during this time.
Carpentras is a minute drive from the house and features pretty squares with fountains and medieval churches.
