The Davos gathering of leading activists, politicians and business people attracts large numbers of sex workers and exposes businesswomen to harassment and sexism, an investigation has claimed.
Citing a Swiss police source, the programme makers said that about sex workers attend the resort for the WEF, but the figure may be an under-estimate because many are brought to Davos under the guise of administrative staff and PAs. Investigators cited examples of inappropriate advances and harassment by senior male businessmen. The man said he declined the offer. In another incident, a driver for the WEF said he had picked up a sex worker from one of the main hotels in Davos who said that she had just been coerced into having sex with a year-old man.
