My mom was in Huntington Retirement Hotel for respite. The care was excellent. They were very attentive to my mom.

Within this lovely community residents are assured of privacy and yet are only steps away from activities and companionship. My mother-in-law is at Huntington Retirement Hotel and our experience has been good. Her room is nice and very clean. It seems like they updated it recently. It's clean and bright. Not sad looking, like other places we saw. The staff seemed very nice, too. They have bingo, arts and crafts, stretching time, and outside walks, and music performers come in.
Moved my mom into this facility recently, and the experience has been extremely pleasant. The staff are extremely well trained to handle any situation, and the administrator and managers go above and beyond to accommodate for everyone's needs. It's located next door to a hospital and across the street from my mom's dialysis center, so it is the ideal location for us.
They really do operate as a family and treat my mom as such. Huntington Retirement is truly a very special place. I've visited and researched my fair share of care homes for my dad, who has vascular dementia.
