A year-old woman, Jingmei Feng, was found there and arrested and charged with practicing medicine without a license, a fifth-degree felony; and solicitation, a third-degree misdemeanor.
She was booked into the Mahoning County Jail and was arraigned Wednesday in municipal court. The Belmont Ave. Reports said he was offered a sex act instead. When a search warrant was served there Tuesday, there was a naked man in the spa on a massage table but he was not charged, reports said.
He was interviewed. Reports said once she arrived at the jail, Feng said through an interpreter under questioning she came to the United States in , crossed the border in Mexico and did sex work in Flushing, N.
Feng eventually came to the spa in Youngstown and admitted to having sex for money, reports said. She also admitted she does not have a massage license, reports said. The storefront the spa is in had been shut down last summer for zoning violations but had recently opened back up.
