Best to get a hotel a little way up 99 as the area is very rough and the Police very very "Cowboyish". Also there is a loop to the east of the 99 freeway that starts at the tri-corner of 7th Street, Crowe's Landing Road and River Road and heads west in a counterclockwise direction looping under the freeway and back to Crowe's Landing Road.
This is a pretty isolated stretch of road with little housing or business on it and pretty hidden from outside view. About a year ago I noticed that there was some talent just walking along this road and available. Quality was spotty however. South Ninth street and where it crosses with Needham is where the hookers usually hang out. Some on South 7th St. They scare me : If your gonna venture this way you can stay in some of the cheapy hotels on Ninth st. Youll find em at the cheapy places The police and undercover stings cleaned the area up pretty good. She was undercover.
