This coach has passed an identification, basic background, and sex offender check. Over the last 20 years, I have coached numerous All Americans and national champions in track. I specialize in middle and long distance. I have spoken at many running camps and clinics.
I like to know my athletes well and build individual plans based on current fitness assessment and goals. My plans are based on building an aerobic endurance foundation. Rules for sustainable long term success 1. Have Fun 2. Stay Healthy. Won many local races, from mile to half marathon. As a coach, I developed several boys and girls to national championships and All American. Will develop plan and will email regularly on training.
Plans are based on your current fitness level and health and your short and long term goals. Mick is great! He always has helpful feedback, good training plans in line with my goals and is very easy to reach. Strong coach, clearly experienced and always checks in. Makes sure running well is his first priority. Coach Mick has been nothing short of amazing and so much more than we would have expected. He is a real pro. Simultaneously, Coach Mick respects that he already has a high school coach and does not overstep into an over-coaching role that could create confusion.
He does a great job of keeping track of where he is in his training and development and has offered consistently helpful advice. He deserves more than 5-Stars! So far, our experience has been very positive. Coach Mick is helping my son to increase his mileage while preventing injury. He is very thorough and is always quick to respond to messages.
