TWIC cards have been required since for anyone entering a secure area of a maritime port. Without a TWIC card, the person must be accompanied at all times by someone who does have the card.
For work around ports, TWIC is important. As a matter of general safety, and regardless of profession, all adults should have recurrent first aid and CPR training.
