It is that time of the year. Yep, College Football. I was chatting with my friend Sean last week about football and he is the biggest Nebraska Cornhuskers fan around.
He said that the unofficial drink for Cornhuskers football is the Elk Creek Water. While I am not the biggest Nebraska fan, I was intrigued by the drink. A mixture of gin and vodka combined for the perfect noon game cocktail. To make this drink fill a rocks glass with ice and add each of the ingredients minus the sprite. Stir and then top with the sprite. The flavor was great and is a nice alternative to a straight screwdriver.

I am wanting to make Elk Creek Water for a Halloween Party this weekend and am looking for the right recipe…do you know it? Drank a ton of them and knew a lot of the bartenders.
