The small balcony overlooks Sanderusstraat, yet is far enough away from the bustle of city life below. The Askoy suite is on the first floor, and is named after the boat in which Jacques Brel sailed to the Marquesas Islands.
Two original pieces of the hull from Askoy II can be found in this room, and the stark and sober interior design gives the feeling of a sailboat. A big window connects the study with the lounge. This suite has a large African wood terrace with a fantastic view of the garden.
This luxurious room is full of character, and pays homage to Jim Thompson, the legendary American who lived in Thailand and was the reputable founder of the Thai Silk Company. You can identify this quality silk in the curtains, which reach all the way from the high ceilings to the sturdy wooden floor.
In the lounge area you can make use of the glass desk or cocoon yourself with your partner in the intimate sofa. The lounge area can be separated from the sleeping area by a partition wall, creating a feeling of privacy. The Moonwalker suite is situated on the third, and highest, floor of the guesthouse. This is a cosy and romantic room, decorated and furnished in bright, fresh colours, giving a light and airy feel.
