This was the first time in my life I felt listened to. I don't feel anxiety for my upcoming appointment. Before Tia, I felt like I was just floating through the healthcare system using Urgent Care as my home base.
Now I have an entire support system. They have an option of an outside waiting area to get some vitamin D. It's been amazing to find them. They use my pronouns and make sure I'm comfortable with terms used. The future of healthcare looks bright, especially in these tough times—a little hope to have.
I so appreciate the way that Erica and Michelle listen and figure out how to treat multiple symptoms in an interconnected way.
