To help pay for your Howard education, we provide various methods for you to pay your dues including payment plans, credit cards, wire transfers, mailing a check, and more. Howard University offers payment plans for the Fall and Spring semesters respectively. Students can enroll in the payment plan via E-Pay. This application is for siblings concurrently enrolled as a full-time degree-seeking student at the University. Application is limited to a single academic year.
A renewal application is required each school year. Please refrain from completing the PDF version at this time. When a sponsor outside of Howard University makes a commitment to pay your educational expenses, they are classified as Third-Party payor. This commitment acts as Promise of Payment from the sponsor. Please note : Payment plans are available through Howard University ONLY for the current academic year and within the open enrollment period, no exceptions.
Howard University offers tuition rebates to qualified graduates for up to half of their tuition costs that were paid out-of-pocket for the Spring semester. The Tuition Rebate Program provides a great incentive for students to complete degree requirements and graduate on time.
An evaluation will be performed during the first week of June for graduates Fall cohort. Please be advised that students who qualify for the Tuition Rebate will be directly notified via email there is no application process for the Tuition Rebate Program. Only for those students who have enough awarded and accepted financial aid to cover their semester balances-or- those who have submitted documentation for an approved third party billing contract before the payment deadline will the hold be released.
Please note, if a third-party contract or pending aid will not cover your entire balance, you must also pay the anticipated difference by the payment deadline. Financial aid is money used to help students and their families pay for college. Financial aid can come from the federal government, the state where the student lives, the school the student attends, or a nonprofit or private organization.
