Starting in a one exam room location in the Gayborhood in Oklahoma City, Diversity Family Health has now grown to have multiple locations in the state of Oklahoma and Arkansas. As a registered nurse, Jason worked in acute care for oncology patients before spending more than 10 years working in hospice, in both direct patient care as well as management.
Then, after obtaining his FNP license, he continued his work in community care by playing an integral role in the formation of a palliative care program for a local hospice company before transitioning into providing community-based primary care to homebound patients for the past 8 years, where he has gained expertise in the management and treatment of multiple and advanced chronic conditions.
Jason is passionate about providing care to all people in a safe and non-judgmental environment and is excited to join Diversity Family Health, where he can bring his knowledge and experience in primary care to a truly inclusive space. Outside of work, Jason is a proud dad to a wonderful, beautiful daughter. He is also passionate about music and loves to put his Bachelor of Musical Arts in Piano, which he obtained prior to nursing school, to good use by accompanying various community and school choirs.
