Prior to medical school she worked as an electrical engineer for four years with a local telecommunications firm. Given her fluency in Spanish, she can extend her services and effectively reach out to a broader population. She strives to help her patients understand their conditions for maximizing the management of their chronic conditions while promoting preventative care.
On her days off, you can find her taking spontaneous road trips with her family, always in search of a good adventure. Mundi is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in Primary care. She completed her undergraduate degrees in nursing and worked for 20 years as a cardiothoracic surgical nurse. Mundi is passionate about building trusting patient centered relationships that empower patients as partners in their healthcare and guiding each person to achieve their maximum health potential.

She spent the first five years of her professional career providing medical outreach for the underserved at a Central Dallas Community Health Clinic in Dallas, Texas. She has also cared for the underserved by traveling outside the US and participating in a medical mission with A. M Ambassador International Ministries. She understands complex disease processes such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, anxiety and depression , acute care needs and preventative health for the entire family.
She recognizes the importance of family, health and happiness. She is happily married and enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 sons and puppy.
